Guess what I’m doing today? If you guessed procrasting, you’d be correct. I’m supposed to be getting everyone out of bed to go get the family Christmas tree, but instead I’m browsing the web looking for inspiring trees. I came across these six that I’m calling non-traditional, mostly because these bloggers and designers chose to use alternative color schemes to red and green. Hope you enjoy these as you get ready to trim your own tree!

Greenery as Garland

Using greenery as a garland is a unique touch on this beautiful tree. Not much else is needed because this organic decoration is perfect already.

Global Vibes

Adding global vibes by mixing vintage textiles and colors. Love the fun tree skirt. You can find a similar on on Etsy here.

Silver and Grey

A silver and grey color scheme was a great choice for this tree. Still a traditional look, but ties in perfectly with the features and decor of this home. Those ceilings and windows are amazing!

The Green Tree

I love this one because each year I choose a color theme for our tree and green was the color I chose this year. Our tree won’t look anywhere as amazing as this, but I’m inspired nonetheless and those green velvet chairs are dreamy.

All White Done Right

A glowing, white flocked tree is guaranteed to look great with all your existing decor.

Coastal Christmas

Blue ornaments are set off by the pretty white flocking and the seagrass tree skirt gives it a subtle a coastal vibe. You can learn to make the blue marble paint ornaments here.

Okay, enough dreaming.  Time to get everyone out of bed and decorate!
