Continuing my love affair with Southern California designers this week is Brooke Wagner Design, of Corona Del Mar. My jaw about hit the floor when I flipped through the pages of her portfolio which features stunning homes designed to the tune of absolute beachy perfection. Her designs encompass a quintessentially casual California style.
In this home from her portfolio, the fabrics and finishes are so current. The use of driftwood grays, blues and fabrics evoke a coastal chic sensibility without going overboard. Overall the home feels so approachably stylish. With fall just around the corner, consider this a last summer design fling.
A dramatic window pane front door and a driftwood gray paneled ceiling sets the coastal chic tone as soon as you walk in the door.
The home features, wide-plank, limed oak flooring throughout.
The family room features a retractable window wall that opens right up to the outside living space. Perfect for entertaining.
The classic white kitchen gets loads of personality with rustic driftwood beams, indigo batik fabric on the counter stools and over-sized cone pendant lighting.
The blue and gray color scheme is carried through to the bedroom linens and bathroom finishes.
I love the texture of the herringbone wood paneled wall in this bedroom.
I would’t mind doing laundry in this bright and airy laundry room.
